CheckSort Cr, Ni, Mo, Mn by the job they help. Compare carbon steel and alloy on heat and weld. Mark preheat and PWHT on a sample WPS. Do not invent a soak. High performance is not free. Cables and gas stay off a hot zone. The grade on the tag must match the paper.
