Tack. A small hold so the gap does not walk.
Clean between passes. Spatter. Slag. Dirt.
Interpass is the paper's. Do not invent a heat.
CheckSet the V. Keep the gap. Tack. Root in the pose I name. Clean. Fill. Cap. Check face and fusion. The midterm is the whole shop, not the skin. Lack of fusion hides on the wall and at the last bead. Safety and order are on the score.
