Good afternoon. I am Professor Hale, and this is KOR 101, Understanding Korean Culture. We meet sixteen times. Each meeting is one hour: I lecture in English, then we use the rest of the hour for questions. You may ask in English, Nepali, Sinhala, Tamil, or Bengali. I will answer in the language you choose, and I will add a short English recap so the whole room can follow. This course is not tourism. It is a map for living here as a student.
